Vision is crucial. Through its unique and personal relevance, it saves the individuals from the gregarious uproar of mediocrity and shapes the organizations to become truly competitive. Vision is always unique and differentiates itself by nature. That is why it cannot be restrained to a set of rules or the repetition of a slogan, it is constantly feeding itself from the heart and mind of the visionary person. It also represents an entirely assumed life philosophy, daily manifesting itself through its ability to think different from the others.

The defining moments of one's life, life's essential encounters, happen when least expected. They usually happen spontaneously, as any genuine creative act.
Such an encounter took place in a café, in 2000, during a rainy and gloomy afternoon of the London autumn, between one person and one book.
The book had just come out of print at the time and the discovery of its ideas certainly became an unique and unrepeatable moment.
For the first time an extraordinary harmony was blooming between the unexpressed thoughts of the reader and the compelling and well sustained phrases of the book,
describing a new and provocative perspective over the new global order, a perspective expressed freely and with good humor.

The harmony of this encounter represented the main impulse that lead to the creation of Funky Business.
The development of a temporary monopoly, the permanent search for innovation and differentiation, described by the book authors, was put into practice in
the field of live communication, by approaching a niche position, the company being the first on the Romanian market specialized in experiential marketing.
Since its start, on a market most probably entirely unprepared for that type of expertise, mostly indifferent also to the philosophy of its culture at that moment,
the agency managed to overcome the "impossible" still predictable setbacks of a pioneering journey, and prove, with constant perseverance and effort, that indeed,
talent makes capital dance...

 |
7 years since that encounter, the book that inspired the identity and culture of the agency was designated No. 16 of the best business and leadership books
ever written. And the vision of a free, open, creative and fun working environment, able to generate new ideas that make a difference has been growing since,
every day, leading a generation of creative minds to professional maturity.
